The Health
Information Research Unit (HIRU) for Wales is an initiative developed
by Swansea University
to realise the potential of anonymised routinely-collected data for health research and evaluation. HIRU is hosting a prestigious 5-day training course on the analysis of linked health data.
The course will be led by Professor
D’Arcy Holman (from the University of Western Australia)
who is a leading figure in the field of linked health data. He will
be assisted by Professor
David Preen.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE?
This course is ideal for health and social care researchers, social scientists, clinical practitioners and health care managers who wish to improve their understanding of working with health-related routine data, and to gain the theory and skills needed to analyse linked health and social data.
